About

I'm Andrew Coleman, I've been making my own short films and documentaries since I was
eleven but have hada keen interested inthe subject as long as I can remember I started
out editing film with Windows MovieMaker and using a freeware tool called Zwie-Stien
for effects, however I soon found these programs where not powerfull enough for my needs
and brought myself a copy of Adobe Premier Elements which I quickly become proficient in.
Over the next few years I went to many short film making course where I learned
Final Cut Pro along with a large variety of film and editing techniques.

The two main awards I've won for my film making were the first prize in the First Sparks
award for the Chipping Norton Short Film Festival in 2005.

I also spent a week on a work experience placement at VPTV (now The Hall) post production
facility, where I was introduced to Avid Liquid, a program I would later gain more experience
in at college.

My television and film interest span beyond just creating, I attended a Q&A session with
Rian Johnson, director of films Brick and The Brothers Bloom and also an episode of the
wonderful, award winning, television show Breaking Bad

I also regularly use the social networking platform Twitter.
